John D. Fumagalli

John is President of the Central Region for Wealth Management. He is responsible for overseeing the investment management, banking and fiduciary businesses for Northern Trust's offices in the Central Region. John is also a member of Northern Trust's Wealth Management Executive Committee.

John joined Northern Trust in Chicago as a Second Vice President in 1989. He was named Vice President in 1992 and a Senior Vice President in 1999. While in Chicago, John served as Managing Director for two of Northern Trust's offices in the city. In 2001, he was appointed President and CEO of the Saint Louis Financial Center. John assumed responsibility for the Southwest Florida Region in 2005 and was appointed Regional President of West Florida in 2011. In this role, he was directly responsible for all activities on the west coast of Florida. Most recently, John served as President of the Florida Region, managing the investment management, trust and estate planning, private and business banking, and financial consulting businesses across Northern Trust's 19 offices in the state. In 2016, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Northern Trust.

John serves on the Board of Trustees of Barry University, the Big Shoulders Fund, New World Symphony, the Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Shedd Aquarium. He is a member of the Orange Bowl Committee, as well as a Board Member Emeritus and past Chairman of the Foundation Board for Florida Gulf Coast University.
