John S. Hantak

John S. Hantak is the president of Northern Trust's wealth management business in the Greater Houston Area. John proactively leads a team of seasoned professionals that meet the financial needs of an ultra-high-net-worth clientele. The Houston business focuses on providing investment management, fiduciary, private banking, and wealth consulting solutions to successful families. The Houston market represents one of the fastest growing economies in the U.S., and a region that has been identified as a primary growth market for The Northern Trust Company.

Prior to his current role as president, John was the managing director of the Houston market. John has over 25 years of investments, business development and leadership experience in the wealth management sector. John has led many strategic growth initiatives while earning consistently high satisfaction rankings with the firm's clientele.

John is on the board of directors for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He has volunteered with the rodeo since 2008 and was elected to the board of directors in 2019. He currently serves on the board's investment committee, is Chairman of the Parade Committee, and is an active member of the Grand Entry and Mutton Bustin' Committees. John is on the board of directors as Development Chair of Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast. He is also serving a three-year term on the board of directors as Vice President/Treasurer of Tejas Vaqueros Inc. John formerly served on the board of directors for Junior Achievement and Friends for Life Animal Shelter. John is a member of Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
