Teresa serves as president of Northern Trust’s Asset Servicing business, where she oversees services for sophisticated institutional clients globally. Teresa’s 40+ year career with Northern Trust places her among the bank’s most experienced executives, as well as one of the financial services industry’s most influential and recognized woman leaders.

Teresa’s extensive background spans Client Service, Operations, Technology and Capital Markets. She has held numerous senior leadership roles, including president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region, where she led strategic development, client servicing, and regulatory affairs. Prior to that, she spent five years in Singapore, driving Northern Trust's expansion across the Asia Pacific region. Other notable roles include chief operating officer for the Institutional business, global head of operations, and head of Securities Lending.

Teresa holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Marquette University. Among her many accolades, she has been named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Finance five times by Financial News and was named an Industry Legend by Global Custodian in 2022.
