Trish Halper, CFA

Trish provides her broad investment expertise to both clients and prospects. She serves as key leadership for the team’s portfolio managers and ensures that the broader Wealth Management investment principles and Goals Driven philosophy are utilized across the full client base.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Trish was the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Wespath Benefits and Investments, the largest faith-based pension plan in the world. Prior to Wespath, she spent over 20 years at Chicago Equity Partners, a boutique quantitative asset management firm, where she was a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer. In both positions, Trish provided oversight over key portfolio performance and strategy, managed teams of varying size, and served as a key partner to leadership in setting goals for growth and success.

Trish has a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Loyola University Chicago, a Masters in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

She is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago and the Chicago Network. Trish is currently on the Board of Trustees for La Rabida Children's Hospital in Chicago and is on the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Audit Committee for the national board of Easterseals. She is a past board member of the CFA Society Chicago.
