EXPERIENCE
Dede has over seventeen years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2002, Dede worked as a Commercial Credit Analyst with SouthTrust Bank in Florida.
EDUCATION
Dede graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida with her B.S. in Finance.
CREDENTIALS
Dede is a Senior Vice President for The Northern Trust Company in Houston, Texas. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder, passing examination levels I, II, and III in three consecutive years. She also holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation.
She is a past instructor with the Financial Analyst Review, a comprehensive study course provided to candidates of the Chartered Financial Analysts program.
INTERESTS
Dede lives in Houston with her husband and their three dogs. She enjoys traveling and visiting her family in Florida.
EXPERTISE
As a Senior Portfolio Manager, she is responsible for managing investment portfolios for high net worth families, foundations, endowments, and trusts. Dede provides holistic wealth management advice; working with a broad array of diversified investment vehicles and allocating portfolios across equity, fixed income and alternative asset classes.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Dede is a member of the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, volunteers with the Neighborhood Centers, and serves as a member of the Women’s Initiative with the United Way.
She is also a member of the CFA Houston Society. Dede has worked as a grader of CFA exams for the CFA Institute since 2008 and has participated in curriculum review initiatives in the past.
