Northern Trust celebrates 25 years of sustainable growth and financial innovation in Singapore.

2021 marks 35 years since Northern Trust started servicing clients in Asia Pacific, and 25 years since we first opened our office in Singapore, a regional financial services and fintech innovation hub.

Northern Trust has experienced significant and sustainable growth since we first started servicing clients out of the Singapore office in 1996. Today, more than 140 employees in the Singapore office cater to 40 large and sophisticated clients across Asia including Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Singapore, and its financial services industry in particular, have seen tremendous change over the last 25 years, with it now being recognised as Southeast Asia’s fintech hub.
