Simon is responsible for the client service provided by the Global Family and Private Investment Offices Group in EMEA.

Simon specialises in working closely with ultra high net worth global families to understand their specific requirements and preferences around communication and process. Simon’s team work on a large number of complex client structures and his operational experience ensures that where ever possible, practical solutions are sought to navigate an ever bureaucratic industry. Simon has excellent knowledge and skills around fiduciary, investment solutions and asset servicing and works alongside some of the industries best tax and legal advisors.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2010, started out his career at Salomon Brothers in 1995 before joining Commonwealth Bank in Sydney on their Fixed Income trading desk. On returning to London in 2000, Simon joined Morgan Stanley and managed a number of operational teams on the fixed income trading floor, covering bonds (primary and secondary), asset backed securities and derivatives (interest and credit). In 2005, Simon was promoted to Vice President and joined J.P. Morgan’s interest rate sales department, providing operational support to the firms top 50 clients.

Simon serves as a Director to The Northern Trust Cayman International Limited and Northern Trust Fiduciary Services (Guernsey) Limited board and also serves on a number of client company boards.

Simon graduated with a LLB (Hons) degree from University of West London in 1993.
