Wikus leads Northern Trust’s Guernsey fund administration operations in delivering services to a broad range of Guernsey investment structures across traditional and alternative asset classes.  He brings over two decades of fund industry expertise in administrative and governance services. Wikus is also a member of Northern Trust’s Channel Islands Executive Committee, and a Board Member of Northern Trust International Fund Administration Services (Guernsey) Limited. He joined Northern Trust in November 2022, having previously held other fund industry related leadership roles in Guernsey.

Wikus commenced his career by training as an auditor with PKF Port Elizabeth in South Africa, before relocating to Guernsey to join KPMG where he audited various financial entities. Subsequently he held senior roles with Aztec, Barclays Wealth and Maitland.

Wikus holds a B.Comm (Hons) in Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant (SA). He has recently completed his Diploma in Company Direction with the IOD and holds a number of directorships of Guernsey regulated entities.
