Chris Morrissey is the Global Practice Lead of Asset Servicing of Global Family and Private Investment Office Services (GFO). She oversees a client service team of 50 financial services professionals that deliver and implement services to meet the unique needs of the wealthiest families and their private investment offices. Chris and her teams coordinate closely with our asset servicing partners in the U.S. and EMEA to help drive best practices and develop efficiencies throughout all of GFO.
Prior to this role, Chris served as Practice Chief Administrator Officer for the Institutional Investors Group (IIG) - Americas within Corporate & Institutional Services. She managed the infrastructure teams which include the business process analyst team, fee centralization team, fee analysis team and account manager team. In this role, Chris was responsible for developing and implementing a variety of initiatives that streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Previously, Chris has worked in the Toronto office as a Division Manager and a Relationship Manager. Prior to Toronto, Chris managed a team of Account Managers in the Not for Profit segment, working to deliver quality service and unrivaled client satisfaction as well as to develop new and innovative ideas to enhance our long-term relationships.
Chris spent the first 15 years of her Northern Trust career in our Operations groups. During her tenure in Operations, she was a Division Manager over several groups including Corporate Transitions, the Florida Trust Conversion and Client Valuation Reporting.
Chris received a B.S. degree from Miami University and an M.B.A. degree from DePaul University.
