Mohammed is a Chief Compliance Officer for the Middle East and Africa. Mohammed has over 12 years of experience working in Saudi Arabia’s Investment, Insurance and Telecommunications industries.

 

Mohammed began his career in financial services working within the Asset Management Operations team at HSBC Saudi Arabia. He then worked in the Firm’s Compliance department where he progressed to the role of Regulatory Compliance Officer. Has also held a Compliance officer role at Alistithmar Capital. Mohammed joins Northern trust from J. Awan Capital where he held the role of Director Compliance and AML.

 

Mohammed has completed the CME 1, CME 2, CCP, CAMS and CMA advanced certificates in compliance and AML. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University and a First Class Honors Diploma of Accounting from the Institute of Public Administration Saudi Arabia. He also had International Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from ICA, and Diploma in Compliance, AML & Financial Crime from Henley Business School.
