Arijit Das is the global head of Digital Assets Architecture at Northern Trust. In this role he is responsible for designing and implementing Northern Trust’s digital assets technical capabilities. Arijit has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years, managing infrastructure and application development teams at some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

He joined Northern Trust in 2009 and has had various responsibilities leading infrastructure, application and automation teams. Arijit and his team developed the world’s first blockchain based private equity solution as well as the world’s first DLT (distributed ledger technology) based fractional bond exchange. He is a co-inventor on several blockchain based patents held by Northern Trust.
