Kevin leads the Energy & Minerals Management Practice and is based in Northern Trust’s Dallas office. He oversees a team of 15 individuals with over 125 years of collective experience in the oil, gas and renewable industries. The team manages over 20,000 oil, gas, mineral and renewable interests throughout the United States. 

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Kevin was a family office attorney for Moore Minerals/Pheasant Energy where he managed the minerals and non-operated working interests among other responsibilities. 

He has also worked as an oil and gas title attorney representing numerous Fortune 500 companies. He has extensive experience correcting title issues, negotiating oil and gas leases and drafting/reviewing all types of oil and gas agreements.

He earned his B.A. in Political Science from The University of Michigan and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and is admitted to the State Bar of Texas.

Kevin is married and has two boys and one daughter that take up most of his time with  sports and other activities. He is a coach for his son’s flag football team and an active member of the Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
