Laura Mandel
Chief Fiduciary Officer
As the Chief Fiduciary Officer, Laura Mandel oversees all fiduciary responsibilities for both the Wealth Management business and the Corporation. Laura joined Northern Trust in 2000 and has held multiple roles prior to her current role, including Senior Attorney, Senior Trust Advisor, President of The Northern Trust Company of Delaware and Global Fiduciary Risk Manager. Before joining Northern Trust, she worked at BMO Harris and practiced law with two firms, specializing in estate planning and trust law.
Laura received her J.D. degree from Loyola Law School and attended Georgetown Law School, Dean’s List. She received her B.A., cum laude, from Loyola University. Laura is a member of the bar of the State of Illinois and the United States Supreme Court. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and an Academician of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law. Laura also holds a Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation.
Laura serves as a member of the Board of Directors for The Night Ministry and The Richard H. Driehaus Museum in Chicago.
