Nourishing Hope wins inaugural award

Award enables Nourishing Hope to make a greater impact on Chicago youth in need of food, mental health services and more.

What is the Anchor Award?

The Anchor Award provides up to $1 million to a Chicago-based, innovative nonprofit organization to accelerate capacity building.

It builds on Northern Trust’s philanthropic commitment to serve South and West side Chicago youth ages 16-24 in the areas of food, housing, education and healthcare.

HOW THIS HELPS NOURISHING HOPE SCALE
Nourishing Hope is committed to holistically serving the community. They have a vision to provide access to food and social services through an increase in online markets and delivery models, as well as by growing their physical presence by co-locating within existing community-based organizations throughout the South and West sides of Chicago.
