Alessia Borile, Sr Sales Executive, leads the business development for UK and Ireland at Northern Trust Asset Management. Her coverage spans across pension schemes, insurance companies, intermediaries, and wealth managers. Alessia is also a Director for the Northern Trust (UK) Pension Plan.

 

Alessia joined Northern Trust in 2019 from BlackRock, where she was covering large institutional investors across EMEA. Prior to BlackRock, Alessia was cross asset structured product sales for Italian financial institutions at Barclays Investment Bank.

 

Alessia earned a bachelor’s degree with honours in business administration from Bocconi University and a MSc in finance with honours from Bocconi University and obtained the Merit Award Student title. She authored two chapters in two respective books published by Il Sole 24 Ore, the main financial newspaper in Italy. Alessia is fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish.
