Kiley Barnhorst Macdonald

Kiley is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Advisor for Northern Trust's San Diego Region. Backed by Northern Trust's 130-year fiduciary heritage and enduring principles of service, expertise, and integrity, Kiley and her partners provide holistic wealth management to individuals and families, privately held businesses, family offices, foundations and endowments. She works closely with clients across all aspects of their financial planning, including tax and wealth transfer, investments, banking, complex asset management, family education and governance, philanthropy and legacy planning. Kiley also manages fiduciary relationships where Northern serves in a trustee or co-trustee capacity.

Before joining Northern Trust, Kiley practiced law in La Jolla with a focus on estate planning, trust administration, and philanthropic advising. She has over three decades experience in the legal, corporate, and nonprofit sectors and a background in strategic planning and financial analysis.

Kiley has volunteered extensively for local non-profits and has served as a board member for community service and educational organizations. She has been awarded for her pro bono service to the San Diego probate court through Legal Aid Society.
