Lisa Cleary

Expertise

Lisa Cleary currently serves as Senior Vice President and Banking Practice Leader for the Seattle market at Northern Trust. In addition to credit and portfolio management responsibilities for the market, she is also charged with growing the Bank's lending business in Seattle. Cleary joined Northern Trust in 2023 and has more than 20 years of experience in various commercial banking roles in Washington including commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate, private banking, and credit risk management.

Experience

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Lisa worked at 1st Security Bank as the Chief Operating Officer responsible for IT, Service & Operations and Facilities. Before joining 1st Security, she was with First Sound Bank as the Chief Credit Officer.

Community Involvement

Lisa is active with Risk Management Association in the Puget Sound and currently serves as a Mentor for NextUp's mentorship program. She was also a past board member for Society of Bank Executives. Additionally, Lisa is a Board Member of Elizabeth Gregory Home, Washington Banking Association, and American Bankers Association Emerging Leaders committees.
