Miles Mallick
Head of Northern Trust Australia Entity, Asset Management

Miles Mallick is Deputy Head of International and assists leading Northern Trust Asset Management's business across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). In this role, Miles provides oversight of regional and country strategies, daily operations, regulatory affairs and relationships with other businesses. Additionally, he is Country Executive for Northern Trust Asset Management Australia Pty Ltd. and serves in regulated roles on multiple Northern Trust subsidiaries as well as their governance committees and boards including Northern Trust Asset Management Australia, the Northern Trust Company of Hong Kong and Northern Trust Global Investments Japan. Miles joined the organisation in 2022 as the Chief Operating Officer for APAC where he was responsible for the oversight of NTAM’s operations and infrastructure teams across the APAC region, helping to enable and support growth across the region.
Miles has over 25 years of investment experience and has held leadership roles in asset management, wealth management and fintech firms. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Miles was the head of Investment Operations & Data and Analytics at Telstra Super, where he was responsible for developing and implementing the Fund’s investment operations functions, leading the strategic review and implementation of the Fund’s data and analytics capabilities whilst also having previous managed the Fund’s technology teams and assisting in the oversight of Telstra Super’s financial planning business. He was previously an Asia Pacific investment services manager for BlackRock where he managed operations teams in Australia and more broadly across the Asia Pacific region.
Miles earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Newcastle University and completed the Advance Management and Leadership Program at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, UK.
