Bruce Letten
Head of the National Banking Practice, Northern Trust Wealth Management
Bruce is the head of the National Banking Practice for Wealth Management. In this role, he oversees Northern Trust’s efforts to provide individuals and families with sophisticated deposit, liquidity and lending solutions.
Prior to his current role, Bruce has served in several positions including Northern Trust's Chief Credit Officer, Manager of Credit Risk where he served for 8 years and Credit Manager. His career at Northern Trust began in 1982 in the Finance Department.
Bruce holds an M.B.A. in finance from Indiana University and a B.A. in philosophy from Earlham College. He is a former member of the Board of Overseers of the Armour College of Engineering and Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has also served as the Chairman of Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago, Financial Services Fundraising Committee. He is a current member of the Executives’ Club of Chicago.
