NT World Green Transition Index Fund
The NT World Climate Equity Fund (Formerly the NT World Green Transition Index Fund) is a passive index tracking fund that invests in companies from developed market countries which meet certain ESG and sustainable criteria. Equity Trustees Limited acts as the responsible entity and Northern Trust Asset Management Australia Pty Ltd acts as the investment manager of the Fund.
INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE
The investment objective of the Fund is to seek to closely match the risk and return characteristics of a custom index, the MSCI World Climate Series A Index (“Index”). The Index seeks to exclude certain companies from the MSCI World Index (being the initial applicable universe) based on predetermined and objective ESG and sustainability criteria chosen by Northern Trust Asset Management.
